Everything you need to create the perfect hot cocoa night - from the best recipe to the extra cozy ambiance.

There's just something special about a warm mug of cocoa on a chilly evening. Whether it's a quiet night in after a long week, a family movie night, or just an excuse to treat yourself, a mug of hot cocoa is a simple way to make the evening magical.

The Best Creamy Hot Cocoa - slow cooker edition

14 oz sweetened condensed milk

8 oz unsweetened chopped chocolate

1 Cup semisweet chocolate chips

8 Cups Milk of your choice

1 Tbsp Vanilla

*You can change out the chocolates to your preference but take note of the taste differences it will have.

In a slow cooker, at least 3.5-4QT, combine condensed milk, chocolate, and chocolate chips. Cook on high for 25 min, stirring occasionally. Whisk in 2 cups of milk until smooth, then the remaining 4 cups and the vanilla. Cook on high for 1.5 to 2 hours. Once the mixture is heated through, switch the slow cooker to the warm setting. Make sure to whisk before serving and top with your favorite toppings.

Hot cocoa is such a simple way to create lasting memories and create tradition. Slow down your busy day and turn it into something special.
