My simple daily system for surviving work, school, and mom life.

If there’s one thing I know something about… it’s trying to organize a day that feels completely un-organizable.

I’m a working single mom, in online college full-time, running a household, doing all the things — usually with a laundry pile staring at me from across the room. Every day feels like my brain has 100 tabs open and only the one directly in front of me is loading.

Over time, I realized the only way I stay organized is by doing one simple thing every morning:

A daily “brain dump” journal page.

Before I look at my phone, before I check email, before the morning gets away from me — I sit down and empty everything out of my head. My to-dos, meals, reminders, errands of the day, kids' extracurricular activities, college deadlines, and even the tiny household chores I want to accomplish that day.

I brain dump, it’s like giving my brain a clean slate. I give myself permission to only focus on the task in front of me because I have a neat list that I will refer back to for everything else I will do today. Meals are planned out, grocery needs are jotted down, and even my wellness reminders are in place.

And because this routine works so well for me, I've turned it into a simple, one-page planner that you can print and use too. There is no fluff in this; life is busy, so I made a calm printable PDF to hold the entire day in one spot.

I made it extremely easy:

  • one page, everything in one place

  • cozy, minimal layout

  • perfect for busy moms, students, or anyone juggling a lot

  • instant download

If you're ready to feel a little more organized (or at least less chaotic), you can grab it here:

Life gets busy — I hope this little planner helps you navigate your day a bit easier.
